"We went with friends with whom we have lunch out almost every week. Today we had the Christmas Lunch, and very enjoyable it was too and still only euros. The main course of venison was particularly nice. The service was prompt, professional and friendly....We will certainly be returning soon."

Native d'Uzerche et ayant connu cet ancien pensionnat, il été restauré avec un goût raffiné et donne une sensation de calme, de sérénité lorsqu'on y pénètre...La terrasse est superbe et très agréable. "Had the much famed Steak. Was ok. Not incredible. Service took a while but I think maybe we should of been more forthright. The Tarte Tatin was incredible though. We had a set 3 course menu for 27 euros. Got quite busy on a Friday night."

"Une vitrine faussement clinquante : les gâteaux sont petits, trop sucrés et trop cher. On y trouve du pain : c'est un dépôt et il n'est pas fabriqué sur place sans que ce soit spécifié. Mais le meilleur c'est la découpe du pain en tranches à 30 centimes (et il reste des tranches non coupées car la machine fonctionne mal). Même à Paris, c'est gratuit ! Après mes remarques, la vendeuse a refusé de me vendre du pain en m'accusant de propos que je n'ai jamais tenus. Du jamais vu. Je suis restée choquée par le climat qui règne dans cette boutique. Je n'y remettrai plus jamais les pieds !"
