Yuu Sushi Train - Port Macquarie

Firstly I would just like to say that the Thursday night waitress does an amazing job. We are regular customers on Thursday nights and tonight when the boss turned up we were appalled. If he needs to speak to the staff he should wait until there are no people in the restaurant.Overhearing his conversation, apparently the waitress is not aloud to chat with the customers!! Do you know what customer service is?? If you want your customers to keep returning you will need to change your attitude towards your staff. Also you plan on turning away customers that do not want to eat "all you can eat". Not everyone wants to sit down and eat heaps of sushi for $25, they may only want a couple of plates. Again you are turning away people and money which comes back onto the staff working on the night. Maybe the boss man needs to work on a Thursday night to see what actually happens instead of instantly blaming the waitress. FYI, be kind to your staff they are doing the best job they can. At least Nicole talks to the customers, I have been before where the staff don't talk unless taking your orders, nor do they ask how the food is. My rating is based on the boss's service which is a appalling. Nicole's service on Thursday nights is amazing, couldn't record anyone else.Thanks Nicole, your azaming at what you do!!

We come everyweek the sushi is great and the service received by the waitress nicole is awesome allways greeted with a smile and great to have a laugh i highly recommend coming and seeing nicole for a bite to eat

I visited this restaurant on a Thursday night for the $25 all-you-can-eat deal. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the freshness of the food. The workers seemed preoccupied with eating and chatting behind a screen, and I noticed that they were not wearing gloves while preparing food on a cutting board. Additionally, they did not replenish the trays with new items when they ran out, such as the salmon sushi. After waiting for 15-20 minutes, I decided to leave because I was still hungry. The few pieces of meat and rice I did eat were either crusty or soft, leaving much to be desired.

Tried Yuu sushi train today and found it pretty good.All plates fresh although the rice was a little under cooked on some plates.Salmon was fresh and miso nice as well, we tried the salmon carpaccio which was on the specials board and we weren't disappointed stopped whilst travelling through from Sydney to SWR and was a refreshing meal. Prices are same as sydney and quality is there as well. Simple plates nothing to extravagant.

Couldn't speak high enough of the food quality and value and to top it all off the service was warm, friendly and accommodating. Couldn't do enough for us to ensure we had a great time.
