Four of us ate at Scran & Dram the other night. I love their brie burger. Fries are fantastic. My husband had the liver and onions with mashed and he found them very tasty. Liver can be tricky. Our other friends had the fish & chips. read more.

I'm a big fan of Scottish pubs. Not this one, though. Good selection of imported beers and spirits at fairly high prices. Our waitress told us the Steak & Guinness Pie was large enough for two. Not true unless you're eating child portions. The Guinness steak sauce was thin and flavourless. It wasn't in a full crust either. The side Caesar salad was soggy, devoid of garlic and tiny. After we were drawn to the city, we went to lunch, both had fish and chips. the service was great and the fish and chips were fantastic. we'll be back.

"My boyfriend and I went on a date night and we were both disappointed with the menu selections and quality of the food on the night and it was pricy for what you got. We were not pleased with the service either - we are not totally writing it off since it is relatively new so will give it another chance. We shall see !!"

"Dined in earlier today, my husband and I ordered the confit wings, best burger in town and Friday’s special fish chips.The burger and wings were okay.Unfortunately the fish and chips were waaaaay too greasy. I had to soak up the extra grease from the fish and got two serviettes fully soaked with grease.However the service was good. Overall I’d say out experience were a little bit of a let down."
