"We had lunch there today and both went for the Taste of Waterloo Region special, which was smoked trout on an in house made bagel with in house made cream cheese topped with pickled onions and asparagus all locally sourced. It was delicious and a real deal at only $20 with a side salad. Service was top notch as well!"

"Really bad food. We ordered a scotch egg it came on 2 min and was definitely microwaved. Egg was way over cooked and cold. We had the steak pie and it came before we finished the scotch egg so I am not sure if it was from chef mike. For a pub the Irish or Scottish beer selection was poor. Decor is tacky we sat in the bar area and it smelled like it needed new carpet. Who carpets a restaurant."

"Over the years,,,as I have been going here for 40 years...the food has declined it can be hit or miss type of thing....back in the day it was always great. The atmosphere is your small town Pub...entertainment I think on Friday and Saturday nights Staff are friendly and engaging I did here the current owner is renovating so interesting to see how that all works out I encourage you to try it out for yourself"
