"After several years of absence as I moved abroad, I visited the place twice within a week. Once with my husband and once with my husband and my mother. And the place did not disappoint. The first time we came without reservations and they were...able to seat us despite being really packed. The food was amazing as I remembered it; we had wiener Schnitzel, Tafelspitz and Salad with Scampi, all very tasty and the meat very tender. On top of that The Tafelspitz is great value for money, two servings and the broth in which the meat is boiled is great as a soup. The service was very attentative despite the place extremely busy due to Christmas family get togethers. Because of that the high noise level was the only drawback. Kids were very noisy and not at their best behavior not the fault of the restaurant. In any case, we highly recommend this place if you look for fine Bavarian cuisine"

"Geiler Treff Nahe der Allianz-Arena zum Auftakt für ein Heimspiel. Das ausgezeichnet meiner Bewertung bezieht sich in RELATION zu dem was es ist und geboten wird. Es ist eine Sportgaststätte - nicht mehr. Schlicht. Aber für vor dem Heimspiel (meines geliebten FC Bayern München) ist es perfekt. Vom Parkhaus (z.b. P3) sind es 15 Minuten zu Fuß - stressfrei. Der Laden ist rappelvoll. Für Fanclubs ist eine Reservierung daher "Pflicht". Einzelne finden immer einen Platz. Vorm Lokal wird gegrillt und stehen Bierbänke. Drinnen rustikal. Dahinter eine Art Wintergarten mit Bierbänken. Danach noch eine Möglichkeit draußen zu sitzen bevor die Sportanlage kommt. Zum Essen: bayrisch rustikal. Überraschend gut. Es geht sehr schnell - klar ist vorbereitet. Aber nicht durchgängig konvenient, das Essen ist schon (in Teilen?) zubereitet. Beispiele: Riesen-Currywurst mit Pommes Frites. Schweinebraten mit viel Sosse und einem Riesen-Knödel. Dazu einen bunten Salat - zur Krönung neben der leckeren Dressing noch ein Klecks Balsamico drauf. Herz was willste mehr. Und das ganze für einen mittleren Preis (der Schweinebraten und Salat für EUR 9,80). Biere: u.a. lecker Augustiner. Die Bedienung ist freundlich, zackig. Die Stimmung klasse. Übrigens sind auch die Auswärtigen willkommen - sofern es keinen Stress gibt. Insgesamt: toller Auftakt für das Heimspiel! Und allemal besser als das Essen in der Arena selber. P.S. man kann auch in die U-Bahn einsteigen und die eine Station von "Kieferngarten" in Richtung Stadion ("Fröttmaning") fahren."
