"This restaurant is a cosy and charming place with a beautiful view for Madeira. Food is fresh and tasty, atmosphere is lovely and poncha very good. Lady Dora is wonderful person who makes this place special. We definitely come back here."

"Friendly, attentive and skilled staff. Nice live music ambience. The food was delicious and the menu offer is a true bargain. We enjoyed our visit so much we had to book a table to another night as well before our vacation ended. Can definitely recommend!"

"Don’t be put off by the rather bland entrance. Restaurant upstairs, is large, spacious and very attractive. The food here was just superb. I cannot recommend the fish soup enough. It was the best I have had anywhere, and could easily and happily had more as a main course. So saying, the lamb tagine was also excellent. We were the only diners there in a Tuesday evening, which was a shame as it did feel a little empty. We were in Funchal for 2 weeks and visited various restaurants in the old town, all except one were excellent, but this one which is a little more central is certainly worth visiting and had we found it earlier, would have visited more. They have only been open a year, and really deserve to do well. Well recommended."

"We visited with no booking and got a table fine, service was a bit slow compared to other places in the area but that's fast compared to English restaurants! We had the crispy squid and beef tacos, I would say it probably wasn't anything to...write home about but good quality food."
