"Tired of pizza, pasta and pannini's we decided to try it out. The cooks are def japanese but the wait staff italian. There did seem to be some confusion about the order the food was served, but I think it is simply lack of communication btw the italian and japanese staff. We had california rolls, miso soup and tempura to start, followed by the chicken and beef plates w rice and veggies. The japanese chef cooked in the open, but unlike most US japanese steakhouses there is only one grill not at individual tables. There is no flair to the cooking, as he cooked effeciently and with no show. The food was very good, it was sooo good to have crab rolls after a week of italian food. It was all very good and enjoyed it. Both the italian and japanese staff were very helpful. They even rig the chopsticks for ppl who do not know how to use them : will def go back, and very happy happy to have found it. Place was clean and well kept. Both Sushi station and grill were very clean and orderly.Only downside, as the other english poster wrote, as in many italian rest. They insist on having djs, ect during dinner, something i personally hate, we just finished up as the DJ set up so we were spared this, so I advise eating b4 the usual dinner crowd to avoid whatever entertainment they have if u do not want loud while you eat."
