"The fillet was good but the sauce is what added the flavor. Staff were friendly but service/speed was about average for Australia."

"Pretty good as a breakfast buffet. Pretty good as a dinner buffet. There’s a good choice of foods at both although not much that particularly inspires, IMO. But you can’t fault the range and variety and we broadly enjoyed our meals here. The highlight for me are the staff who were efficient and faultless to a tee, and always good humoured."

"Impressive place, we felt emotional when we visited Uluru, undoubtedly a spiritual place and special significance to the traditional landowners, Yankunytjatjara and Pitjantjatara people. Uluru is enormous, like what it would feel like swimming under Sydney Harbour Bridge, and the heat and the air so dry, and there not much sound, no birds or car traffic, quiet still and dusty. however the conditions gave us a feel for what living outback must be like tough. How Aboriginal people survived out here for thousands of years is fascinating. Luckily for us, we stayed in the Outback Pioneer lodge, air con, and ate at the restaurant five star dinners with cold beer and fine wine. We visited the Aboriginal information facility and booked a tour with a Aboriginal guide and listened fascinated to his to stories about the Rock and its people. We chose not to climb the Uluru to respect the wishes of the traditional owners., instead we hired a car and drove out to Uluru lookouts at sunrise and sunset, to take our photographs there were so many flies, we had to wear nets over our heads! But we didn't care, the adventure is so moving, so unforgettable. A visit to Australia must include a trip Outback to Uluru and its people."

"We had both tapas dinners and coffee and desserts. Recommend the Wattle Seeds Mille Feuille and Lemon Meringue éclair. They were so delicious, we came back a second time and ordered the same delicious pleasures again."

"This is one of around 11 options for dining around Uluru and the only one that mentions they have vegan options (although all of them seemed to). It 's very 80s Australian with a buffet style salad dessert bar that you help yourself to, once you order the main from the menu. For vegans there are two main options: gnocchi and stirfry. On a Friday they provide eggplant parma, and as much as we begged they would not let us have this on a Saturday. We all ordered the gnocchi with spinach, lemon, chilli... it was passable, but not exceptional. It was a big serving that none of us finished, having had items from the salad bar. The dessert option is fruit. The staff were happy to check on the made up salads (roast veg salad and a few others) if they were vegan. Pleasant, big restaurant with much needed air-conditioning in the heat. Special mention for the effort of making me a 'fruit cake ' made with slabs of fruit, grilled pineapple and coconut brought out with candles for my birthday."
