Ilkari is a buffet restaurant located in Sails at Desert Hotel. Breakfast is priced at $48 per person and dinner is $89 per person. The buffet offers a variety of dishes including prawns, oysters, steak, and vegetarian options. Personally, I preferred Arnguli, the restaurant at Desert Sands Hotel, as it offers table service. What User dislikes about Ilkari Restaurant:
We decided to try the buffet for our last night at this restaurant, knowing it would be expensive based on reviews. However, we were surprised to pay $225 for a meal that, while lovely, was not exceptional. The restaurant itself is beautiful with many tables, so reservations are necessary. Better than expected - we went for dinner buffetThe price was about $75 AUD pp (I can't remember exactly).
After a long day of walking around Uluru, Ilkari was the perfect place to feast.They have an excellent dinner buffet selection.

I Come in Uluru for a pleasure trip with my partner. The last morning before leaving we stopped to have breakfast in Ilkari restaurant. Buffe breaky We have been welcomed very good from the staff. The place is very tidy , clean and super well look after. The food is exceptional, the continental breakfast is full of different options from the savory to the sweet one. The quality was amazing and very flavorful. We were guests of the campground and they give us a discount , we payed 30$ instead of 45$ Very good deal and honestly 30$ Totally worthy. If I had time , I would have tried the dinner as well. I will recommend to go.
Beautiful food experience in a very special venue. Wonderful service, fabulous food choices and in a great location. Join Accor for discounts and points. Sails is a great spot to see Uluru and all that is central Australia.
