Stopped by this little chip shop whilst staying in the area (Still Rabbit Lodges). The lady said they only had small fish left, so we were astounded when she passed over two large fish and chips! "The food was tasty. The waitress unfriendly, unwelcoming and had very little table etiquette and for this reason I will not be returning. Her demeanor was as if she could not be bothered to serve us. Due to severe health problems this was supposed to be a rare treat for me. Very disappointed."

"The food is nowhere near as good as it used to be. Either a different kitchen team, or they 've lost their passion. Prices ramped up about as far as they dare go, and even the Carrot cake was a bit dried up. Sticky tables and mediocre service, has turned an 'old favorite ' into a 'drive on by '. A real shame."

"We walked in and was made to feel as welcome as a fart in a space suit from a guy dressed like he'd just been on stage with The Happy Monday's he barked at us the took us to a table. The food arrived and it had coloured chips well one was green. On leaving payed by card and it didn't go through, we sat and finished our drinks we where about to leave when a waitress rushed over shouting. You can't leave you've not paid. As the whole pub looked at us. The PDQ machine wasn't working properly so we paid and left with no thanks.... we will not be returning and we only live in Pocklington."
