Despite complaints about the lack of indoor dining and slow service, customers continue to rave about the delicious food at CCC. The Chinese chicken salad is a standout dish that many find worth returning for, although some other menu items fall short. Healthy options, good prices, and efficient takeout service are also highlights. The decision to close the dining room and focus on takeout/patio service continues to be a point of contention, with some long-time customers feeling alienated. Despite mixed reviews, CCC remains popular for its tasty food options and is especially known for its Chinese chicken salad.

Food is great but hate the fact you can’t go in and order or eat there. Pandemic is over. They should stop using it as an excuse to cut out service.

The 4 star review is for their Chinese chicken salad. Its excellent, big portion, and has delicious dressing. Very good value for the money. However, their chicken off-the-bone is consistently dry and flavorless, which makes their wraps and sandwiches extremely disappointing. Although I completely appreciate the fact its not highly processed chicken that most places have these days, they seem to have missed the mark in developing good flavor for their most popular ingredient. Their on-the-bone chicken is good though. Regardless, the salad is delicious and worth driving a bit further away to get one. I'm pretty sure it's to-go or outdoor dining exclusively, so just make sure you are prepared for that.

I have read many complaints about this restaurant only offering drive-up and takeout service now, as well as the small outdoor seating area that is hotter than hot. My complaint, however, comes from how incredibly slow they are. They only sell one protein item - chicken, which is mainly used in salads. How difficult is it to make a salad in less than 20 minutes when most of the ingredients don't even need to be cooked? Waiting 23 minutes after placing an order with only 3 other guests waiting nearby is ridiculous. This restaurant used to be great, but now it's just average. Also, don't forget to ask for a fork because they don't provide one unless you ask multiple times. I probably won't be returning, they've lost their touch.

What corporate decision-maker at CCC decided to close the dining room and make all orders to go with only patio dining? That's all fine dandy for places that have moderate outside temps, but extremely stupid for the few CCC's in the San Fernando Valley where temps hit 110+ in peak summer. For example, it's currently 96 degrees in Woodland Hills with high humidity. Even in the shade, it's sickening to be outside. Why would any customer want to suffer in this heat when there's so many eateries offering dine-in and better food for the same price point? I understand the dining room being closed during COVID restrictions, but we're over a year past that! It's obvious that this company is very left-leaning and part of the fear-mongering COVID crowd by refusing to open dining rooms, especially in areas with temperature extremes. My friends I have been going to CCC since the late 90's, and due to their dining policies, CCC has lost several lifetime customers. It will not be surprising if they continue to bleed red and lose more customers. I predict that unless they change, CCC will close down locations or completely shutdown.

Well I want to tell you that the food is great, I think that the customer service and the owners are terrible. The last three times I came they forgot ingredients for my food so this time I specifically wrote it in the comments (ordered online) before coming in and once again they forgot. I also find a particularly strange that this is the only restaurant you still cannot dine in and they won't let you beyond the front door.
