Baton Rouge Steakhouse Vaughan

Hadn't been to a Baton Rouge in years. I was so looking forward to it. I kept bragging to my husband about the amazing ribs and fries. I couldn't wait to enjoy the meal. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! The food was cold. It tasted like it had been sitting in the window for hours. The ribs were not the usual fall off the bone ribs that Baton Rouge is famous for. They were super dry just like cardboard. What can I say about the ice cold fries. Frankly, stale KFC fries taste better than what we got. The wait staff was friendly enough but they did not make up for the worst birthday dinner my husband could have ever had. Stay away unless you like eating cardboard.

I’m pretty disappointed with the food and service from this dining experience. It’s been a while since my friends and I visited Baton Rouge and this was definitely out last time. The food was very disappointing, no one from our group was satisfied with their meal. The service was very poor, our server barely gave is time to make any requests when they came to check on us, we waited for long periods of time before we were served, they would ask one person in the group if they were okay and then walk away without checking on the rest. Typically in a restaurant setting you would be offered water before ordering any additional drinks.. we did not get that, one person asked for water and only they were served. In all it was an experience we didn’t enjoy and we will not be going back.

Had a good time at Baton Rouge. Our waitress said she was rather new to the restaurant, but she did a pretty good job! We were celebrating our anniversary, which was noted when booking with Open Table, and unfortunately was not acknowledged. My drink sat empty (a pop) with no inquiry into if I wanted a refill. Otherwise, the food service were fast and good. Will be happy to return.

Excellent service. I ordered an ahi tuna salad. The tuna was sub par, but my husband’s meal was delicious.

We really enjoyed the experience, the waiter and a manager were very helpful and attentive. Overall we had a great time, will be back!
