All reviews for Shingle Inn from all websites. The restaurant offers good food (3.5 stars) and is one of the best restaurants in Wollongong.

They kicked me out in a very impolite manner, just because I set for a second on one theirs chair and didn't order anything.

Thought we would have a coffee and Pie at the Shingle Inn not the best decision of the day. Coffee was bad the pie was terrible. A perfectly good pie microwaved...

Nice clean, nice chairs as well as booths to sit in. Nice coffees and cakes does a nice breakfast as well. Friendly staff Open early morning until shops close

"It was an exquisite experience. that has become my absolute favorite. the personal is very friendly. especially the person who served was super nice. I loved the ambiente and the star of the show was her steak. tried their dry ribeye and the wagu steaks and I enjoyed every bite. the price can be expensive, but it is absolutely worth it for the quality and the culinary experience. I will definitely recommend it to everyone! some steaks are also halal, so if they are looking for some good halal steaks, then this is the place they have to try."

"I went with a friend and the new fit-out in the back room was quite comfortable. The coffee was excellent but we were disappointed by the Banh Xeo that we both ordered. The pancake was overcooked and so hard that I couldn't cut mine and...had to leave it. My friend said that her meal greasy. The service was quick but the coffee was a bit undersized for the price and no one came over to see if we wanted another coffee or asked how our meal was. A bit overrated, unfortunately, but maybe there are other pressures at play. It's an interesting place which used to be an antique and gift shop back in the 1960s when the timber was polished to perfection. It's a bit too rustic and rushed for my liking and the food was just not that good."
