What User doesn't like about Food World Gourmet Cafe:
We ate here again the other night. We arrived at 5pm. The floor was covered in rice, obviously from the lunch time diners. Even by my poor housekeeping standards, it was quite dirty. Tables were spotless and service fabulous as always. You cannot park directly outside and will be lucky to find a spot across the road but we always find a park down the nearby side streets. I loved the ambiente and the star of the show was her steak. tried their dry ribeye and the wagu steaks and I enjoyed every bite. the price can be expensive, but it is absolutely worth it for the quality and the culinary experience. "I went with a friend and the new fit-out in the back room was quite comfortable. The coffee was excellent but we were disappointed by the Banh Xeo that we both ordered. The pancake was overcooked and so hard that I couldn't cut mine and...had to leave it. My friend said that her meal greasy. The service was quick but the coffee was a bit undersized for the price and no one came over to see if we wanted another coffee or asked how our meal was. A bit overrated, unfortunately, but maybe there are other pressures at play. It's an interesting place which used to be an antique and gift shop back in the 1960s when the timber was polished to perfection. It's a bit too rustic and rushed for my liking and the food was just not that good."
