Contribute FeedbackRoosters is a popular restaurant with a fun and pleasant outdoor atmosphere. While the food may not be authentic or gourmet, it is tasty and well-prepared with generous portions. The wine list is extensive and reasonably priced, but some signature dishes may be lacking. Service is generally good, with knowledgeable and accommodating staff. The restaurant can get busy and slightly understaffed at times, but the staff makes efforts to ensure a comfortable experience for diners. Overall, Roosters is a favorite spot for dates with consistent, delicious food and a friendly atmosphere, making it highly recommended for a night out.
We sat outside, and with the heaters coming from above, it was pleasant. My husband had the duck breast, and I had the Bolognese tagliatelle. Both were delicious, and we washed them down with a great Spanish wine. When we looked at the dessert menu, we were both craving the bread pudding. However, you were to have ordered it earlier because it takes 15 or more minutes to prepare. We decided to wait, and it was totally worth it. Rooster’s is close to our house, and we are so lucky. I’ve never had a bad meal here.
As always, a delicious meal and great service! Lamb was amazing!
This was our 1st visit and everything was delicious! The house made pimento cheese was wonderful. The scallops were perfectly cooked and so tender! We finished it off with the Creme Brule. We'll definitely be back!
Three of us met for lunch. We asked to be seated on the patio, which was great. The only problem was that there was quite a bit of smoke (like from a grill) blowing every now and then around our table. It smelled like good cooking, but it was a bit much. The server was attentive but haughty. She offered a choice of chicken or salmon in a grain bowl, then was disdainful when i asked for chicken. I figured something must be wrong with the chicken, so I switched my order to shrimp and grits. My two companions got the salmon bowl. When we were served, one of them sent it back because the salmon she was served didn't taste fresh. She ordered a pizza instead. The server was clearly displeased although she took the salmon dish away without comment and brought the pizza later, again without comment. My shrimp and grits was good, although not the best I've ever had. But the patio was nice on a beautiful day. We go to Rooster's often, and this wasn't one of our best experiences there, but it definitely wasn't the worst either. We will go again.
Love the locally foraged mushrooms on the pizza. My brother’s scallops were to die for!
