We looked at the menu board, but found it easiest to tell the hostess/waitress/chef what we wanted and let her guide us. The 'combination plates' are actually just half orders. I got a half order of perogies (cheddar potato - delicious) and a side of borscht (really delicious, and I don't even like borscht,) which was PLENTY of food for a meal. For over 50 years, my family has been delighted by Anna's cooking. The borscht and perogies are outstanding. Stop by and savor a delectable dish of homemade food. Make sure to say hello to Anna from "Tatomir" - she is a kind, hardworking lady and you will not be disappointed.
This restaurant offers the best Ukrainian cuisine in the city. The prices are reasonable for both dining in and catering services.
Combo Platter: Perogies, Cabbage Rolls, and Borsht. $10 for all this delicious homecooked food? Amazing.
We were in Windsor on a three day weekend and were told by friends that this was an amazing restaurant experience. And they were right. Four of us went to this charming little restaurant and felt that we were back in time. The ambience is so charming and quaint. The feeling when you walk in is so welcoming and feels like you are going to you Nana's for an ethnic meal. The decor is so personnel and mid sixties. My husband and myself ordered the Beef stew with potatoes and noodles and I had the six perogies and two cabbage rolls with potatoes. Both were the best we had ever tasted. Our friends ordered the Stuffed peppers cabbage rolls and perogies and the combo with sausage, cabbage rolls and perogies. They both were blown away by the taste and freshness. The price will blow you away also, so reasonable for 5 star home cooking. A must to visit.
