I recently visited Ray's Drive-In on 301 in Wilson, North Carolina, and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling from Kenly, Goldsboro, or nearby areas like La Grange, Pikeville, and Micro. What Nelson Barbee dislikes about Ray's Drive-In:
Never got our food. People that came in after us ate, paid got to go and left and we still had not received our food. We gave up and left and they tried to charge us for food we never received. View all feedback.
Wow! This is hands down the best tenderloin I've ever had! Ray's Drive-In never lets me down—it's absolutely fantastic!

I would definitely give the entire experience 5 stars. While it may not quite surpass my grandma's cooking, it comes incredibly close. The ambiance is pleasant, and the staff is friendly, which adds to the overall wonderful dining experience. Be sure to check out the captivating photos that showcase the essence of this culinary gem.
This restaurant has a charming, homestyle atmosphere reminiscent of a warm southern grandmother and grandfather's kitchen. The food was exceptional—I'd give it a perfect score of 20! I would definitely go back again.
I'm glad I saw this place after a restaurant closed for good in Kenly NC. I was driving down to Wilson NC that I saw Ray's Drive In. I stopped by there on my way home. It was on Tuesday around 1 pm for lunch. When I saw the menu board on the wall. I was excited to see Chicken Pastry and collards. I ordered that and one more side of black eyed peas. I go there ever since mostly on Tuesday and sometime the other day. The Chicken Pastry is so good just the way my mom and her mom cooked. It's like old time country food. The same with the vegetables, too with hot cornbread. The staff are friendly. The food delivery to me very good. There are still pretty busy. I wish they have a big place to have more room in that area. It is kind of crowds in there but it's worth it. I recommend to go there to eat Olde Time Country Food. Enjoy!
One of our favorite places for breakfast. Best coarse ground grits ever. Tenderloin gravy is a favorite.Wheelchair accessibility: Not easily accessible.
