What Natalia Mann dislikes about Lower West Side Wine Bar:
Live in Williamstown..had many meals in this place..like to support local operators..had the odd issue with meals coming out well out of sync but still returned and with friends and interstate visitors. Booked a table in advance to show up and be casually told a...group booking had taken our table and we could have a sub standard table jammed in at the front door. No contact from the restaurant about the issue even t... View all feedback.
Seriously, this is the best place to go in Williamstown if you want to be assured of a great night. I have been here about 10 times since it opened a couple of years ago. Have never been disappointed, which is something I cannot say...of any other restaurant in Willy and I feel as if I've been to them all! Last night's meal was the best I've ever had at LWS. Prawn risotto was supreme. Rose was perfect, especially with the green olives to nibble. Eggplant chips are a personal fave. Service is unfailingly professional, warm and fun. I am a pescatarian and always feel there is plenty to choose from. It's very reasonably priced. Would go here for intimate dinner for two, cheese board with a friend or a group of adults. Great to go somewhere where the staff know their wine and are happy to chat.
Warm welcome, happy vibe, comfortable seating, delicious food. The perfect place to celebrate a special family occasion!
“It was the day of freedom and we have beaten to get a booking to feel the mood to be on a place; in the company and from the trackie dacks! eating here is fantastic and very good - the calamari and the flower cabbage were excellent. Weep. is always good and cheap. new young employees were warm and enthusiastic about how we were! love this little jewel in willy.
Brilliant customer service from the helpful and cheerful employees. beautiful wine list with some unusual international decisions that only wait to be explored and enjoyed. large eating; large ambiente; very recommended; and we will be back!
This is one of our half-regular faves. beautiful small wine bar, served meals, cheese and sausage boards. unpretentious and very simple, but a good place to relax. can not find their internet site (don't know what's going on), but this little place is...from the main train away and seems to attract the natives. a visit,
