Original Roadhouse Grill - Whittier

Every thing was really good, eating, server waiting time can not think of a thing that was not top notch.

We have made a last minute on the same day reservation for a birthday and it worked perfectly! our server, which is very sweet to see we had 4 small children with 4 adults!

Made reservation for 7:45pm. Arrived at 7:40pm. Was greeted by hostess who said she saw our reservation and that we would be seated Next . 20 mins later, 7 parties had been seated before us and we were still waiting. I decided to leave at that point and asked the hostess to cancel my reservation. My issue is why make a reservation if the restaurant is not going to honor it. I 've used Open Table reservation multiple times before and the restaurant was always able to seat me on time or as close to it as possible. Additionally, if the hostess knew I wasn 't going to be seated next , then she shouldn 't have communicated that with me.

There was a small issue when I reserved the time. I booked on open table but then the restaurant called and said they could not seat my party until an hour later! I was upset and told them they needed to communicate with open table. I received my points and overall the food was good.

We had dinner, both had steaks and both steaks were perfectly cooked. large parts for side and very good. we were too full to taste dessert.
