The Keg - West Vancouver

As with all the Keg Restaurants the service was great and so was the food. Seating was good. The one thing that spoilt the experience was the background music, which was more like foreground sound. The whole meal was accompanied by a loud and bass heavy noise. When we asked about this they did turn the sound down a little bit, but it was still loud enough to make conversation difficult. The mangeress, I assume that is who she was, came and apologised. I would have rated it higher if it were not for the loud background. This did not seem to bother the couple at the table across from us. He was still able to make numerous phone calls throughout his meal, and the lady with him had to resort to her iPad, probably out of boredom. I probably won't go there again unless I can be assured of a quieter visit as there are other Kegs in Vancouver without the Ker Boom, Ker Boom.

This Keg recently opened In Park Royal South (West Vancouver). It has modern decor spread across three eating areas. The bar and lounge is large and spacious. The dining room is intimate. And the outside area has plenty of room for diners. The patio faces West so you get a lot of sunshine late in the day. The restaurant maintains their tradition of cooking up one of the best steak and lobster combo's for dinner. They also have 'happy hour' from 3 to 6. It's a small menu with a great calamari plate.

The calimari was very well prepared. The steak and prime rib were perfect, as were our sides of twice-baked potato, veggies, and side salad. Very attentive service and nice ambiance.

Newly relocated, Keg at Park Royal in West Vancouver. Patio is beautiful located Beverage and food Menu Excellent. Had Tuna Tacos and Lobster Gratin both absolutely delicious.

The atmosphere is great in this new replacement restaurant - finally after 4 years! Spacious, warm with great energy. I found the staff friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I love my steak and have been a faithful Keg customers for years.However, I still miss the old Keg with its rustic decor and large booths.
