We came with friends last night for a quick dinner and were surprised at the very fine quality for a very excellent price. Nothing fancy but just very good sushi. The Box and the special were great. I had a ramen that was a mistake. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Daikichi Sushi:
Parking was a nightmare along Burrard Street, now it's insane since the City created it's bike lanes and in so doing eliminated thousands of street parking stalls in the downtown business district. Daikichi Sushi provides no off street parking. We ended up having my buddy drive around the block while I ordered a couple of Party Trays to go and ending up at Sunset Beach to enjoy our lunch. Negitoro tastes fishy and i couldn’t eat it, the beef Tataki was so disgusting- i think they just took it out of the freezer and right into the takeout box as it was still icy and very tough. Ponzu tastes like water and i threw it out as i didn’t want to get sick. Beef teriyaki was ok but nothing
The teriyaki chicken and beef are outstanding. They are very flavorful and the portions are generous.
While the presentation may not have been the best, I have to admit that the sushi and rolls were tasty and fresh. Even though there are restaurants with higher quality sushi, the speedy delivery of our 80 piece order in just 15 minutes was very impressive.
Seriously, the best Poke bowl in the city! Mango chicken, exceptional! Ordered now 4 times and everything 5 taste, quality and service! Highly recommend!
