my wife and I had a nice meal freshly cooked and paid attention to the needs of my wife, the beer was super and good friendly service great British pub

a super evening with the family. meal times were hot and tasty. even more so that the cheesecake, chocolate brownie and the sticky toffee pudding special were a real hit all served with ice cream. (home made.) atmosphere great and service could not. drinks were cold and most welcome after a long day out and over. will go back there.

nice to come over a traditional innocent pub that felt like a step back in the time! honest, healthy and excellent eating. big change from all the usual chains and gastropubs that are jumped! local at the bar enjoy a quiet pint and a beautiful...young woman serving behind the bar. do not read too much in some of the negative reviews of this old-fashioned and traditional pub is in devon not chelsea!
