"Food and service here is great. I don't normally like sushi, but this place made me believe I did. I then proceeded to try sushi at other places and realized I don't like sushi unless it's from here. Their other dishes are great too including the omurice and the banana tempura (served on ice cream)."

"I want to be clear: the food is very, very good. However, this is not a place to dine in. This is a place for a carry out or catering, which is unfortunate because their food is way better than most Italian restaurants in the metro Detroit area. The quality of the food deserves to be enjoyed on site but the dine in area is not comfortable, nice nor welcoming. I reiterate: they deserve 5 stars rating just for the food. The pasta is wonderful, the sauces are excellent."

"Came into this place early evening on a Saturday and things were fairly quiet. I ordered a chicken platter with fries, and my girlfriend ordered a falafel wrap. She also ended up asking about their sauces, all of which are homemade, and available for order! They had some pretty interesting sauce flavors, from the standard sweet spicy (MUST try , to some more fruity flavors like spicy mango, spicy raspberry, to some VERY interesting flavors like an avocado sauce. The owners were AMAZING they let us sample each sauce while telling us about exactly what went into each sauce (the avocado doesn’t have any sugar! . They gave us a complimentary little plastic container of the avocado sauce by far our favorite. The avocado sauce wasn’t watered down AT ALL, very thick and full of avocado flavor. Don’t expect anything like guacamole, it’s still definitely a sauce. Back to the main food falafel was freshly prepared and fried (we had to wait a bit, which of course is expected , and the chicken shawarma was amazing. Generous portions of garlic sauce and hummus. The side salad was nicely dressed as well, wasn’t an afterthought or anything. The avocado sauce definitely gives me California vibes and I enjoyed it with the fries (although some may give me side eye for saying that . The owners are a very friendly couple, and the restaurant gave off friendly, neighborhood vibes. They recognize regulars by the voice when they order, joke around with their customers, and even talked about and offered us samples for their rice, which they suggested for me the next time I come by, which can’t be soon enough."

"Great location and atmosphere however, no one in our group enjoyed their drinks and while we were trying to finish the staff started piling chairs on the tables around us to get a quick start at closing (even though it was only midnight). I'm sure there are better places to go."

"Some of the best food that I've ever had. I am so glad that talented chefs are opening places like this in the Detroit area now, and I don't have to just wistfully watch the Food Network. The Nova Scotia chowder was rich and buttery, and chock full of seafood. Every dish was shared and enjoyed by the table. I have a soft spot for butter tarts, so when I saw one on the dessert menu, I had to try it, and it most certainly didn't disappoint."
