"Shige's Saimin Stand is a great little gem of Wahiawa. I stopped there to eat while taking a little ride. It's been years since I been there. I ordered their fried saimin with a hamburger (my favorite). It was so good, just like I remembered and the staff was friendly and the service was great. Nothing important has changed, and that's a great thing. "The best pizza spot on the north shore. The gluten free is my fav! Fresh ingredients, a chill environment, central location in Haleiwa and of course a staff that serves up amazing food with ton of aloha. Ask for Michelle. Let her know you read this review from Chris. She will make your pizza with love and treat you with respect and care. I Can’t say enough about this place. One of, if not the best pizza place on Oahu. "Queen st café and grill is a hidden gem that is a family-owned kitchen serving up delicious quality local food in Aiea. They only do take out and it's best to make a phone order since they take time to prepare your food. My favorite plates from here are their kiawe fire grilled steak, fried ahi or salmon katsu w/ garlic aioli or tartar sauce, and fresh spicy and/or limu ahi poke. I am always excited to eat from Queen st because I know it's going to be delicious and satisfying. Queen st is a no-frills kind of place with an impressive menu, understandably so since the food speaks for itself."

"My wife and I had searched LONG and HARD for some REAL Soul Food on the island. Stumbled across Hughley?s Southern Cuisine? while on google. And mannnn I?m glad we did! Just WOW! The food was beyond AMAZING! Flavorful, hot and DELICIOUS!! Felt like we were back home in the South! Would recommend a million times! Do yourself and your tastebuds a favor and stop in and see for yourself!"

"I DREAM of Ice Garden! Like literally. I have had dreams of it lol. It is one of my absolute FAVORITE places to go. I no longer live on Oʻahu and live on the Big Island again. And I miss it sooo much! But, there is nothing like it here.. or anywhere. Heyyyy owners, open one up on Big Island! Haha. My favorite is the one with the taro. And I've tried other flavors; but I will keep coming back to the taro! It's soooooo good!!!! Any chance I get when I am there I will go! It's the perfect thing to have on any hot day; or ANY day. And the place has been around for so long. It's basically a tradition in families to go to Ice Garden. I hope they will remain open for generations to come."
