The Riverina Hotel & Grillhouse Restaurant

My partner and I met for lunch and we ordered from the specials board pumpkin soup and the roast lamb. Very disappointed as the steamed vegetables were cold and bland and the smallest 2 pieces of roast lamb was just ok nothing to write about. Well I had the pumpkin soup and can not describe how awful it was could not eat it and can't believe how a simple dish can be so wrong. Fortunately the service and bar attendant are very nice and friendly. My partner has been going there for years and is very disappointed to see it going down hills.

This place needs to have a serious look at where it sources it's meat from. Would be hard to find a tougher piece of steak. Not only was it tough but also pretty much stone cold. This place is also very noisy If you are looking for a good steak or a quiet dining experience try somewhere else.

I ordered a scotch fillet steak with vegetables with garlic bread, it was fantastic, it tasted great, the staff were very helpful and friendly

The hotel has recently undergone a 'make over'. This looks great but would be better if the lights were dulled a bit, the restaurant is too bright. The meals are very good but too large, especially if seniors are in the party. Perhaps a seniors menu? Also reverting to plain old chips would be wonderful. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Awesome meal, although they were really busy our meal came out very quickly. We had the chicken Hawaiian Parma, and I could not fault it.Quality thick chicken,salad amazing chips more than I could eat and all for $19.00 great meal, would definitely visit here again if in NSW
