Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant in question seems to have a mix of positive and negative reviews. The food, particularly the crab cake and other dishes, received both praise for being good but also criticism for being mediocre and expensive. While some customers experienced excellent service and a great dining experience, others were dissatisfied with the snotty attitude of the staff, poor customer service, and table arrangements. Additionally, it seems that the restaurant has had a loyal customer base, with some expressing disappointment that it has closed without warning. Overall, the establishment seems to have had a mix of experiences, ranging from fantastic to disappointing.
We arrived early for our reservation and were told to sit in the bar. 15 minutes past our reservation time, I went back to check and was told that the hostess had been looking for us but couldn't find us. We were seated at a table in the bar, where we saw her, but she never noticed us. They marked us as a no-show for the reservation. We were seated in a dim corner; our waitress was busy with a large table and didn't return promptly - we had to order drinks when they brought our dinner, which arrived after we had finished eating. The food was decent, but nothing exceptional. If we had known it was the restaurant's last night in business, we would have chosen a different location. It really put a damper on my birthday dinner.

We arrived in st 7:05 for our 7:15 reservation. the waiting time for our table was short (15 min) . there were a few empty tables at least 2, which had to be deleted. they seemed to be undermined for fti eve. once nobody sat on our table for 15 minutes. then rather hastened to ask for our drink order. 10 minutes before our cocktails. 10 before our waitress came back to take over our food order. aps came out in time. with dinner 20 minutes behind. the side of the spinach was for getting when the evening was almost finished. we asked about brot when the dinner came, but never got it yet saw the waitress remember. eating was good, service was slow, but very friendly when we saw them. she had too many tables and did the best she could.
I had a window seat for two on our reservation. the waitress obviously didn't know that and told us that the only available window seat was reserved for a waiter family. there were other window seats that were not offered. eating was good, especially the crabcake, the steak, salat, but waitress was very nice, but only saw her I needed something. she was busy, even though our room was less than 1/2 full. the menu has decreased in the options and I feel like the visit has not been compared with our last visit, or even meet the last one I visited last week.
The food was excellent and the portions were just right. Our waitress was a bit slow in taking our order but eventually everything worked out well. I thought that the seafood menu was a bit slim for a restaurant on the water but my haddock and my wife’s shrimp scampi were excellent.
