Like many others, we tried this restaurant because of the stellar Yelp reviewsI do not agree with the other reviewers.
My family and I were in Williamsburg last month and dined here on our wedding anniversary day.

"I wanted to celebrate my birthday with my husband. Service was good. The food had no season at all. No salt, pepper, old bay, butter; NOTE! The baked sweet potato tasted like cloves that were evil. The vegetables were simply beaten again. Sweet potato biscuit was dense. Sweet tea tasted like dirt. For you to have fresh seafood, you need to learn how to season it. We won't be back."

"Heirloom is a terrific restaurant with some great food. The restaurant is a good size and the enclosed porch is delightful since the tables are well spaced out so the experience is comfortable since you feel far away enough from fellow diners. Service is discreet and personable and the beverage service was great. We had a great wine that complemented our dinner quite well. The raw oysters were great but not local (from the Northeast), the remainder of our dinner was delicious especially the fried whole snapper. Amazing! Definitely recommend this restaurant for their seafood."

"We're going home on the way to know we had to stop! he was super friendly and delivered really fast service. eating was incredible and I recommend stopping it very much and getting something to eat when they see it. I have the crabcake sandwich and my friend has the fish tacos. both were amazing and we will try again more from the menu!"
