Vibes on vibes on vibes. A must go summer spot. Rumor has it. On Sunday, it's the best rooftop patio in the city. Their happy hour is THE happy hour!

"Spicy Valley Indian Cuisine Take Out surpassed our expectations with their amazing food, generous portions, and exceptional customer service. From the moment we entered, we were greeted warmly and treated to a complimentary mango milkshake, setting the stage for a delightful dining experience. The taste of their dishes was extraordinary, showcasing authentic Indian flavors that left us craving more. Each bite reflected the freshness and quality of the ingredients used. The portion sizes were generous, providing excellent value for money. On top of that, we received a complimentary pakora platter, adding an extra touch of generosity. However, what truly stood out was the impeccable customer service. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to accommodate our preferences. It was by far the best customer service we experienced during our trip to British Columbia. Overall, our visit to Spicy Valley Indian Cuisine Take Out was amazing, offering delicious food, ample portions, and top-notch service. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an authentic Indian culinary adventure in Victoria island, British Columbia."

"I’ve come here a few times. Love the venue, although their glass between table sections is always foggy and gross. Food is amazing and comes to the table fast, however the staff are really really bad. Front door girls have always been kind, but every server I’ve had here in all the times I’ve come have been daft, uninformed, scatter brained and rude. Today, it took our server minutes to take our order. Guess she felt that because my guest was on the phone, she couldn’t talk to us. Eventually she came by and I ordered for both my friend and I. No cutlery or napkins given, I had to leave my table and chase down a hostess for them. Food came before I got my napkin or cutlery. Asked three separate servers, three separate times for salt and pepper, made it half way through my meal before someone finally brought it. Not just today, but in all my experiences at Boom, servers seem to lack in basic service skills ie. food quality checks, up sales to dessert by asking if we’d like anything else, making a stink of you want something from the cafe added to your bill, uninformed about the food and drinks, and just generally rude all around. Seems like all the servers are inconvenienced on the whole job itself, which is a shame. I’d love to come in and do a week training course with these kids on how to provide immaculate service so that the service will be up to par with the venue, however the owner would need to reach out and request my services, which happens to be something I’m extremely skilled at teaching. My experience won’t stop me from going back, their food is great and the venue is relaxing. Just don’t expect much from the servers until someone of authority catches on and remedies that aspect"
