"Good bakery items however I have stopped ordering here because I ordered cupcakes for my sister before. Twice now I have called ahead to order my own for my birthday the same exact cupcakes. The first time I was told they don't offer that flavor. The second time, my order was taken for a set time/day, I was quoted a price and when I arrived, to my disappointment the woman told me they had nothing for me. When I asked if she didn't mind taking my order while I was there to have it ready the next day, she acted like it was an inconvenience picking them up for my desired time (SAME TIME OFFERED BEFORE) because it was the same time the decorator arrives. All I wanted was some lousy sprinkles. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. It takes two minutes out of your day to help a team member or AT LEAST OFFER. Especially when my experiences here have been the way they are. She then let me know once I told her my desired flavor that they don't offer this.1) Why was my order taken and quoted if they knew what flavor I wanted and they knew they could not do it?2) Why couldn't someone call to let me know it was not going to be ready due to the flavor?3) I find this extremely unprofessional for any business and will not be recommending anyone I know here. It's a sad shame."

"My first time. What a great little cafe. I had the chicken salad sandwich and it was by far the best I had. I ordered one to go to the street! Great staff..friendly and fast service. In any case, will go back! Prices are also reasonable!!"

"I washed dishes here in 1992-1995 after Dan and Karen moved the restaurant from the Library Ave site. I was too young to really appreciate the homemade Italian cuisine Dan and his father made every day, but I remember how the staff was always treated like family and the dinners were our guests. At the end of each shift we would all sit together for dinner. I'm sure I miss it. Dan and Karen earn a break after so much hard work, but I am so glad to see the restaurant reopened so that the heritage can continue"

"I was there for the first time last night. We came a little later (at graduation), but the staff was super friendly, and the food was also really great. Everything was great. I will definitely come back when I'm out in the Vermilion area"

"Stopped in to use the restrooms and never left. We got to the Wollybear festival, walked around, and ended up at Rudy 's. 4 Bloody Marys, 3 Absloute and waters, A Philly Cheesesteak with tots, a Truffel Burger with onion rings and A HUGE Pretzel and being there 5 hours the whole experience was Awesome. The 3 bartenders were as close to perfect as you would ever find. They were all over, and nobody wanted for anything, and they complimented each other well. The 3 cooks made/prepared everything quickly and efficiently with a GREAT TASTE! This was our first time there, BUT it will not be our last! John Taffer could take lessons from the staff there.
