What Emelie Rippin dislikes about Lucky Bamboo Restaurant:
Food is a hit and miss. Been back and forth to this Vietnamese restaurant for the past few years. Owner and chef keeps changing every years or so. Usually get their pho , rice dishes and their vermicelli. again , hit and miss)....Ranges from amazing and then to alright. Beef/pork is a bit too chewy and sweet. Lucky Bamboo is located right next to Chatime and is extremely close to their competitors such as Ox Noodle and Picko Lime.
Best pho in Vaughan area. Service it okay. Parking available. Good appetizers like the pork wonton. Bubble tea also.
This place is locally owned by a Vietnamese familyThey're very welcoming and friendly, the service is on point.
Five of us have been to this very casual little restaurant for lunch twice this last month. Each time it has been very good. Try the 301b, which consists of vermicelli, minced shrimp on sugar cane, grilled beef and Vietnamese meat balls. The food is well prepared and nicely presented. The server however looks very grumpy with never a smile.
Service was very quick which is much appreciated as we were very hungry but the food was only average . The stir fry vegetable had a bit excess salt and the veg noodles seemed to have too much of sauces . But theThai green chicken curry was very tasty which saved our day !The costs were very reasonable and the staff very courteous. If only the chef creates tastier food it wd be a great place :)
