Dragon Court Restaurant - Uxbridge

We hadn't had chines food in a while, so we decided to drop in her as we were passing through Uxbridge. The food was good, and the 2 young girls / waitresses who seemingly did 'everything' (as there were no other employees to be seen), were great. The restaurant is dated, although I find that with many Chinese restaurants we have attended. The dining area was clean, however the washroom were very dirty....so I'm hoping its not a reflection of the kitchen area. There were not many people inside the restaurant in spite of it being supper time. It was evident however that there were many people ordering 'take-out'. I would give this restaurant a rating of 3.5 out of 5....but gave it a 'very good' rating on this site.

The food here is great. I used to be a server at this restaurant, but please do not be fooled by the picture. This place is really dimly lit and has not been updated in 20 years.The pictures make you think that it is really open and modern, but it is not.Don't get me wrong, I loved this place. Dave, the owner, is the most amazing host and makes you feel like family when you walk in. So overall, it is a great restaurant to visit, but please do not be fooled by the picture above. :)

Always fresh and tasty. In my opinion the best in North Durham. Pineapple Pork is awesome. Chow mien is great. The General Tao chicken is sweet with perfect amount of spice. This is our regular Chinese food pick up joint.

Unlike a lot of Asian food restaurants, dragon court is alway freshly made and hot. the interior has not changed for over 30 years, but that is part of the charm. I would suggest eating at the restaurant as the food is super fresh and piping hot...but It seems most people do the takeaway, which is still great! Unfortunately, they don't deliver. the menu has lots to choose from and the flavors and ingredients are all unique.

Fresh, reliably good, friendly place for Chinese food. Thers a reason there aren't any other Chinese food restaurants in Uxbridge.
