"Ive dined in here a few times, and I must say the wet burrito experience reminds me of Juans Place in Berkeley, CA. Fresh meat, nice and moist burrito with verde sauce over. Not only is the taste and quality good, but the prices are rather fair all things considered. Friendly staff and a nice cozy atmosphere with outdoor seating as well. If you like a spicier experience make sure to ask for their habanero sauce. Nice to-go packaging. Food: 5"

"They were able to accommodate my family of 10 with family visiting with no issues. I ordered the shrimp scampi which was forgotten until I left to take one of my kids to the bathroom. My family mentioned that staff forgotten about my dish. But brought it out instantly when mentioned. My family was nearly finished. I did enjoy all the appetizers, bruschetta and fried calamari. Staff ensure our drinks were topped off. Here's the downer. Within 1 hour of leaving the restaurant, I started feeling weird with chills. I got home 1.5 hours later and I ended up sleeping the night on benadryl and Tylenol with lots of water as I had the chills, muscle aches, vomiting, and diarrhea. 15 hours later of sleeping, headache for days and nausea with vomiting. Over all, I love the restaurant when it's a smaller party, can ensure my food and drinks appropriately. But with a large party, I was playing the risk game. And I ended paying for it. $275 for 10 people. Reasonable"

"We were so fortunate to have this place just a few minutes from our hotel. We surprised them with a party of 20 for breakfast, the staff did an excellent job of accommodating our group on short notice. The menu was extensive, portions are large, and resonabably priced. All of our food came out at the same time and our glasses were never emptied! The servers were very efficient and friendly!"

"I visited family in Nevada City and we wanted to find out what we have to eat. I accidentally found Diego with Google Maps. Since no one had eaten there before we checked the menu and all agreed, it sounded good. I had the shrimp enchiladas and I can honestly say that they were probably the best enchiladas I had in the last 10 years. The sauce was super delicious with a touch of spicy and the shrimps were perfectly cooked. Rice and beans and grilled vegetables were a perfect combination. All the others have the Tacos and the Portobello plate. It is enough to say that everyone was satisfied with his meals. I'm from the Bay Area and we have some pretty amazing Mexican/Latin food so I didn't expect so good food in Grass Valley. I would definitely recommend Diego to anyone who lives or crosses the Grass Valley. They have outdoor seating and a cool funky vibe/decor. Next time I have to try their desserts!"
