Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't busy but not empty either. The dining area was clean and nicely kept. The food came quickly and everything tasted great. Fresh ingredients and given the components, the hots were hot, colds cold, etc. Great place for a healthy alternative to some of the other restaurants in the area. read more.

In nice weather you can even eat in the outdoor area.

What Davion Conroy doesn't like about Zoës Kitchen:
Feel oversold on this place by the reviews. Maybe being vegetarian limited our voices to much, but we've spent less for far more at similar establishments. Not to mention better tasting. Sorely disappointed and will not return. read more.

I love Zoe's kitchen. My favorite one in town has been bought out by the corporation. The one on Peoria seems to have enough staff, but service is kind of slow....

"Terrible customer service and hygiene. that was our first time here. there was a person before us, and the long-haired guy who took the order seemed upset and angry about the person before us was asking. that was my first red flag. they all looked like they didn't want to be there. then it was our turn and someone else with fishnet leggings took our order that went well (for the moment). we sat in the bar area next to him and waited for our To-Go order. during the waiting they see everything in the kitchen. the first thing we noticed was the long-haired guy who blows his nose, not wash his hands, put on gloves and then food-prepping. that's disgusting, I don't care if the gloves are on or not. wash the hands first. After 10 minutes we noticed the fishing net girl sitting on the floor, both hands on the floor behind the register. when the whole day on the tins is tied up, this is probably not the job for them. After a few minutes, she rose up, dusted her hands on her clothes and took an application after a customer appeared. also not the hands washed after they were on the floor. then we saw how our eating was fought by the same girl. I almost didn't want to eat that, but we've already paid 15-20 minutes and waited. she called us and we went. the food was good, but I don't know if we're gonna testify again to the disgusting things that go behind theke, as well as to hear similar stories here. the management must be aligned with additional training to the thema sanitary and customer service. especially if everyone can see that they prepare for eating."

"The food is good as always BUT the girl that took our order was rude. She cut us off when we spoke, and after every duck it was said that it was hit with a “all different” even though we were still talking and trying to order.
