What Chris Satterfield dislikes about El Rio Verde:
I'm sorry, I do not understand the hype. I think it's "Okay" Mexican / Tex Mex at a reasonable price, but nothing above average. I have given El Rio Verde a few attempts and did not have been impressed at all. I find her food to be gloomy, and lacks some kind of taste. Your salsa is like aqueous tomato sauce. I tried the famous wet Burrito and it was attractive. Mushy Nachos, Guacamole, was mostly other than avocado.... View all feedback.
Love the little hole in the wall Mexican restaurant! we always order Mexican tacos with the carne asada or crispy chicken tacos and a bowl of chicken orchard soup. it is so consistently good and purse friendly! it's my way to real tacos!
The atmosphere here has been casual / easy to get down. the chips and salsa were nothing special. the salsa was a little watery and had not much to do. I was then shocked to find out that the bark meats are not even on the menu. they only need to know how to order them with the waitress. the rinderfajitas were very good. they had this very authentic style and taste that they cannot find at many places. if they are looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant to try, this is a good place to try.

A pocket-friendly, inconceivable restaurant with quite good eating. the horchatas, fajitas, burritos, enchiladas. all were good. the wet burrito was great. if they are looking for good and cheap Mexican food, this place is for them.
Not good. the online menu advertise sopes if I don't make it sopes on menu. flautas should be made with maistortillas. the frogs there are made with flour tortillas. I got that huh and cheese taquitos because they seemed the closest to real happy because they were made with mais tortillas, they had no taste at all. they tasted like they were from the dose, you could taste the metal. the rice was terrible tasting without a spicy and a dirty color. I'm Mexican, I've eaten my whole life good Mexican food. this place is overestimated and terrible tasting. they had good service and fast waiting staff, but what is the point of the food tastes like hustle and is not a complete menu.
