What Dave C likes about Baila Pizza:
Three courses meal on two occasions. Service a little on the slow side but OK once they started using actually serving. I am not sure they have a party of 30 plus very often. Enjoyed the food other than on both nights when the sweet course would have benefited being left a tad longer to fully defrost. read more.

Have been eating here every year on our return from skiing for as long as I can remember. However this time there were two waitresses one very good (older one) but the younger one who took our order was either very anti British or very inexperienced as she was very rude and unwelcoming. Despite this the food was nice and came quickly so we gave her the benefit of doubt and put it down to inexperience or an off day. read more.

"Just my favorite restaurant in Troyes. The atmosphere, the staff and the food transport you completely into what would be a Japanese restaurant. Saké, sushis, yakitoris, udon, ramen, dorayaki... all classics are there, and are absolutely irreproachable quality! The place is certainly small but it is a good quality and it strengthens the calm and relaxing atmosphere. My guests and I were more than satisfied with the attention given to the kitchen and I had a very good meal. On the other hand, you have to make sure you book. It clearly deserves 5 stars. I highly recommend!"

"I guess we are not lucky. We had a lunch with my husband in this restaurant. We personally went here because of its good reviews. We ignored some restaurants around and choose this place. We sat and ordered some few selection on the menu. We ordered the shrimp and egg for starter, veau for plat and baba for desserts. They offered us amuse bouche to start which is nice. We received the starters, they are artistically done, means it is not a lot. We had the veau plat with puree (which is cold), mine was huge portion but very undercooked. I requested to recook it and the server was nicely reheated my plate. It took awhile. But it was better after. Then, we get to the Baba dessert. My husband found out that the cream on the dessert taste like cauliflower. We then asked the server what is in the cream, he said it is mascaporne and sugar. We didnt agreed to him. Then, the server went and checked it at the kitchen. While we are waiting and hearing the server laughing at the back kitchen which is not very professional, we then figured it out they mixed the cream. We wanted to cancel the dessert but still they re-did our desserts so we waited again. Finally the cook came to serve us the desserts, apologizing. I don't know if I have to give them 2 stars review, I let you decide based on my experience. Visited 24/09/2022"
