"We stopped in during Friday afternoon, a few minutes before closing. The staff was quite welcoming, and we were treated with a warm welcome. We had a slice of pie, warmed up, and picked up an additional pie to take home. The pie filling could be distinguished: not mushy, and clear flavors of apple, berries. The pie dough had a warm, baked flavor, without hints of shortening, and the crumble top is a good excuse to eat oatmeal! It was way different from another Grand Traverse Pie location, in Plymouth. This is the reason it is a must to get a fresh piece of pie in Traverse City, rather than the other, down south location:great service, and fresh pie!"

"Stuns on this cool little place while in the area. It looks small from outside, but it was bigger than I thought inside. The ambience was a bit dark, but not enough to make it strange. Many board games to choose and even adults games behind the bar. There is a separate place to order food. We enjoyed a beer while we caught some cheese bread. I will say that her ranch is not delicious for those of you Ranch lovers out there. They also had a cool chalkboard to get your friends drinks if they don't happen to be with you at the time. A clever idea I saw in some places. Currently they have a good view of the water, but they will lose that as soon as the new development goes over the road. Bummer, but I'm sure it'll still be a cool place to hangout."

"Food was great. We started with the beef skewers and tuna nachos, and split the salmon entree. The beef skewers were insanely good. The tuna nachos and salmon were also great. The rice was a little mushy but still tasted good. We waited about 30 minutesbut it was worth it. Great atmosphere as well."
