Excellent customer service and staff. Ordinary wait of around 15-20 minutes. Not that bad. Perfect date night spot. Ambiance and mood are cozy. Bring your conversation and an appetite. Took a star away for the slippery floor. Overall great experience. View all feedback.
This place is delicious but I must agree with other customers the bathroom needs more attention....
Great place, delicious food and nice customer service. Had a good time. Daniel Bejar thanks for the invite.
People think 'all you can eat ' is all about getting the most bang for your buck with quantity. I 'd much rather prefer quality. This place is A-OK. Three 1/2 stars. Service was hit and miss...<br/ <br/ I was here 10 months ago, and before that seven months.. so its not my first time. This visit was Mother 's Day. Probably a day not to come for great service, because it 's a 'special holiday '. I was invited by my aunt for a 'Mother 's Day ' dinner, so it wasn 't my choice to come, and I can 't complain about the price.<br/ <br/ There were 13 of us, and we arrived at 5:30. As I said it was Mother 's Day and the place was packed. We had two people helping us, and yet it took until our second round of food to get our drinks, and even then it was wrong. Never got refills offered, probably because they were so busy!<br/ <br/ Even the food we ordered was not right. We ended up with three orders of Bulgogi, and I don 't think we ever got some of the food we asked for. We were handed an order of spicy something, and no one ordered it. <br/ <br/ Later, a guy asked if we got our Galbi, and we said we 'll take it.. and he stepped back and said 'Did you order it '? We said yes (but had no idea if someone in our table did). <br/ <br/ What they should do is be like Din Tai Fung, and put a slip of paper on the table so they know what table ordered what. So when your order comes, you have proof you received what you ordered (or you ordered what you received). <br/ <br/ One thing our waitstaff did do was change out the cooking pans frequently. However the pilot light kept going off, and it took forever to find a staff to relight our grill. Our guy would also change the grill at the time our meat was 'just ' about ready, so he 'd swap out a hot grill for a cold one, which really made no sense. You 'd think he 'd wait until we finished cooking first.<br/ <br/ Overall A-OK. BTW: Gen is a franchise, so not all Gen restaurants are owned by the same people.
Torrance 's GEN Korean BBQ House serves up an all you can eat delight at a very reasonable price and will definitely have you coming back for seconds. Now, all you can eat Korean BBQ is just one of those things that has to be experienced. You 're sitting there at a table in front of a giant grill with all this food ready to be cooked. As you 're munching on a few side dishes, everything cooks in front of you. This is a great group activity and I suggest doing this with friends who have huge appetites. I 'll let the photos do the talking. Ready to fire up the grill! Laying down the meat and some squid for color. Watching that sizzle and wishing I could smell all this all over again. You get quite a few sides to whet your palate while you 're waiting for the main courses to cook. I highly recommend the potato salad, and sometimes it has to be specifically requested. An abundance of rice paper is available to wrap your grilled delights. Macaron ice cream sandwiches for dessert are delectable. My only quip is that you can only purchase them on your way out instead of requesting them at your table. I still don 't understand why that 's the case. For the amount of food that you can get at this place, the price is just right. Just make sure to bring friends to enjoy the vast selection. Lunch and dinner work identically, except that the former has eight less 'grilling ' choices than the later counterpart. However, if you 're just looking to stuff your face it 's not too much to miss the popular selections are still on there. GEN Korean BBQ house is located at 24301 Crenshaw Blvd. in Torrance.
