What User dislikes about Lageez Authentic Indian Cuisine:
I was just googling Indian food, and came across Lageez, ordered daal (not to bad), Chicken Korma was horrible, they need to educate themselves about this dish, it had no color. Chicken kebobs looked sick---no color, no flavor. What a waste of money. Never again, and will not recommend this even to my enemies. Total waste. feel sorry for those who eat here. I was hosting a training session in the area for 23 people and this restaurant came highly recommended. We were not disappointed! The vegetarian and chicken thali dishes we ordered were absolutely delicious, the portions were generous and the price very reasonable. The food was delivered to the venue on time in convenient individual luncheon containers. Bala went beyond the call of duty and prepared special dairy-free naan for those who requested dairy-free meals. Everyone loved the food!

I love and work in the area, so I eat here at least once every 2 weeks. They make their own naan and they are fabulous! Butter chicken and chicken biriyani are my favourites. Eating in you get better portions (More meat in the dish) than take out. Overall an awesome Indian restaurant.

We had heard of Lageez from neighbours and decided to try it out. Glad we did.First let's get the locale/decor out of the way. It is located in a small strip mall on Pharmacy @ St.Clair. It's a great spot for lunch and casual dinner. Fine dining it is not.We had a mixed platter appetizer so we could get a sense of their food prep and flavours. We were not disappointed. Very good food. For mains, we ordered lamb curry and chicken vindaloo. The lamb had some heat (I'd say moderate) and great overall taste. The chicken brought the heat to the table. Again, great taste but not for the faint of heart on heat. Our server was great. Chatted about their beginnings and who's running the show. As I understand it, it's his father in the kitchen. This is well worth the visit and come back as many times as you can. We need more good food establishments in Clairlea and Lageez fits the bill. Oh, speaking of the bill, the food is very reasonably priced and so are the drinks (had a bottle of wine under $20).

So everything was great - the service the food - the cheapest bottle of wine I've ever had at a restaurant! The paneer was good. You need to try the lamb - better than many 5 star restaurants I've been too.I did check they did not use flour in any of their sauces - so you can feel free to go as Gluten Free. The service was attentive. All positives - no negatives.
