Contribute FeedbackWolf in the Fog in Tofino is a must-visit dining experience, according to reviewers. While some found the food to be overpriced and not as exceptional as expected, others were blown away by the delicious dishes such as halibut and kale salad. The service was highlighted as friendly, attentive, and fun, and the ambiance as truly Tofitian. Overall, the restaurant offers a memorable dining experience with inventive cocktails, excellent wine list, and a creative menu featuring fresh, local ingredients. Whether you're a seafood lover or looking for unique twists on classic dishes, Wolf in the Fog is definitely one of the best restaurants in Tofino to try.
Our dining experience at this restaurant was excellent in every way. Firstly, our waitress was very friendly and welcoming. She provided great recommendations and suggestions, enhancing our overall experience. The food was outstanding, with high quality and delicious taste. The Spot Prawns with Garlic Bread and Tuna Mexicano were highlights, offering unique and amazing flavors. The Smoked Wild Spring Salmon for the entree was also fantastic. We topped off our meal with a slice of Basque Cheesecake, which was not overly sweet, just the way I like it. While prices may be on the higher side, they are definitely justified by the quality of the food. It is recommended to make a reservation well in advance to secure a table.
What can I say, this restaurant is absolutely fantastic. The interior, staff, vibes are brilliant. And then there is the food. Unbelievable. There wasn’t one dish on the menu we didn’t want to eat. The dishes we did go for were utterly delicious. We live in central London (UK) and are spoilt for choice for restaurants but few could compete with this place. I would go as far as saying you shouldn’t visit tofino without going to this restaurant. Oh and make sure you ask to eat upstairs vs the bar downstairs.
I enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly staff. It gets quite busy even during the weekdays. We had to wait in line for about 10 minutes to just get in and luckily we were the last to get a table in second floor in Thu 5pm. So recommended to make reservations in advance. Food was delicious (prices high too) and the portions are not very large. Dish decoration was right as good as Restaurant decoration. I loved the burger
Great experience overall! We tried the fried oysters, lamb pasta, baked halibut and basque cheesecake. The pasta and cheesecake were my favorite items, both had great portions. The decor and ambiance was really nice, tables are well spaced and the music choices are fantastic.
The food at this restaurant was truly exceptional. We loved the creative twist on fried oysters, the unique kelp seaweed salad, a delicious halibut sausage, a beautiful halibut with eggplant and green mole, and the cream puff dessert. We also enjoyed a perfect BC Rose from Scout and a couple of well-made cocktails. The service was professional and you can wear whatever you want. Overall, a must-visit dining experience.
