On Deck, a popular spot for St. Paddy's Day, offers good appetizers like nachos and poutine. The service may suffer during busy times, but the food and friendly servers make up for it. Despite a few negative reviews, the diverse menu, inviting atmosphere, and delicious wings make it a great choice for casual pub fare and entertainment like pool and live music. Affordably priced, this North Side gem is worth a visit for a fun night out with friends, even for those with dietary restrictions. Overall, a promising spot for a casual and enjoyable dining experience in Thunder Bay.

Was User at On Deck a mag?
Standard pub, food is meh, beer is meh, waitresses are trashy and fun. You know what you are getting when you go to a hole in the ground like this, sometimes you just want to melt in with the trash. Love it. View all feedback.

What User dislikes about On Deck:
A group of us enjoyed St. Paddy's Day at On Deck.We decided on just appetizers with our drinks. The nachos are very good and it's a good size too...plenty for sharing. The poutine is also very good, smothered with lots of gravy and cheese. Both dishes were hot when delivered. We had the usual drinks with nachos etc...beer. Always cold when served to us.We were lucky we got there early as once it got really busy, the... View all feedback.

Low class, smells of pot, very dirty bathroom. Kitchen messed up the gluten free burger bun and swithed it to another family members burger. Got glutened.

The owner is Celiac and they take cross contamination and food prep seriously

This place is a pub with a bunch of regulars who hang out there to watch sports. The waitress was very friendly and there was a gluten-free menu with lots of options on it. I'm not sure about cross-contamination in the kitchen though. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich. It was a real treat because I haven't had something like that in a restaurant in over 15 years. Very tasty. No symptoms after or next day.

Came here around 12:20am desperate for some late night food as nearby restaurants that claimed to be opened were all a disappointment (either closed or not

Average..If you want a no frills place it's for youI lament the lack of good beers on tap3, taps with junk draft.
