Kangas Sauna - Thunder Bay

I visited Kangas for the first time on 'Pancake Tuesday' and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious. The bacon, sausages, and pancakes were all perfect. A member of my group even said the eggs Benedict were also perfect. Our dirty dishes were promptly cleared and our server was quick to offer refills and bring us the bill. Overall, a great dining experience.

Very good service. The saunas were nice and hot we cleansed our bodies and than finished with a nice hot breakfast. My wife, daughter and I really enjoyed the hospitality and we will definitely come back when we are in town again. The owner came up and chatted us and even took the time to give us the pancake ingredients. She was great ! Thanks for the memory guys

Great breakfast option in Thunder Bay. Friendly staff. Lots of parking. Highly recommend the Finnish pancakes or the Eggs Benedict. The restaurant was busy, but minimal wait time. Looking forward to going back!

This is my first time here and I am truly impressed. The service is excellent and very accommodating. I am glad we decided to try this place. The food is delicious! It was quite busy, but we had a great time here. I give it a thumbs up!

I haven't been able to visit my favorite sauna on the weekends due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but today I finally made my triumphant return and it was absolutely fantastic! They have small, medium, and large rooms available, and I opted for a small room for $28 for an hour and a half, which was well worth it considering how amazing I felt afterwards. The experience doesn't stop at the sauna though - I also enjoyed a delicious bacon and egg breakfast on the patio. Kangas serves some of the best Finnish pancakes in the city, as well as French toast, eggs benedict, and excellent omelets paired with a morning coffee. While I haven't tried their lunch menu, I was impressed by the sandwiches and burgers that other patrons were enjoying around me. I hope the city doesn't go into lockdown again, as my sauna visit helps prepare me for the upcoming work week.
