Stayed in Three Hills on the way home. Hotel said all restaurants closed due to virus. Drove around town and found Harvest House open. Was supposed to close at 730 pm and we got in at 720 and they stayed open for us. Did not...know this until after we were seated and they were talking to a local at the door. Had a steak sandwich which was incredible. View all feedback.
What Audrey Peron doesn't like about Harvest House:
The food at this restaurant is incredibly delicious. However, the wait times on Fridays and Saturdays can be quite long, which is to be expected. It is recommended to preorder your meal due to the impolite and assertive attitude of a younger waitress. View all feedback.
Veal cutlet was overdone and over salted. Greek lasagna was very salty as well. It always concerns me when restaurants over salt foods.Difficult to taste a dish when it's seasoned incorrectly. The staff did apologize as they should. The only reason this review received at...More
We had a fantastic dinner tonight. My 10 year old son ordered from the kids menu and had a healthy portion he could barely finish. My husband I were very impressed with the delicious flavours and great service. We will come back when we are in the area.
Never disappoints, generous portions. Reasonable prices. Fast and courteous serve. Would definitely recommend for family dining. Daily specials!!
Always good food, every dish! very consistent, year after year....fair prices, good service, great atmosphere.
Our server at Drumheller's Boston Pizza recommended this restaurant to us when she learned we were staying in Three Hills for the night. Being from big cities, we wondered if the place would be authentic and really have home-cooked food. We were delighted with our choices, the chicken parmigiana, the specialty pizza and the mini Yorkshire puddings with roast beef and gravy. This is "comfort" food at its best. We also enjoyed an appetizer of deep-fried pickles. And don't let the description fool you. These things are tasty...the breading was a mix of breadcrumbs, spices, herbs and Parmesan cheese. Yummy. And such huge portions. I could only eat three small bites of my Yorkshire and beef. Our server told us that leftovers are the norm at this restaurant. So thank you Carly from BP's for recommending Harvest House. The proof of its excellent food is in the full tables and Mennonites feasting too!
