We visited there as part of a World War II tour. because of the size of our group, we were not able to stay there, but we stopped for lunch. The owner told us about Thionville and the Moselle over some excellent local wine and beer on their shady terrace overlooking the city. we had reserved for 6 people. we found ourselves alone in a huge ice room, with only one extra heater. the 3 meats arrived almost cold (fish dishes, they were at good temperature).
