We had a lovely lunch of toasties with drinks at a very reasonable price and then moved on to the cakes! Huge pieces of home made gateaux for €3 and a coffee or tea for €1.50 We came back one evening for coffee and a glass of rose with chocolate cake and red velvet cake. The red velvet cake was just amazing Highly recommend. read more.

"Beautiful food and excellent service. We had bread and olives to start followed by the Moqueca which was fantastic. I didn't want this course to end. We finished with the citrus cheesecake which was very light and had delicate citrus flavours. Highly recommended"

"This restaurant has had many good Tripadvisor reviews. I am sorry to say that our visit (late Sept 2020) didn 't bear out its reputation. There 's nothing wrong with it being an unpretentious dining room (some of our best meals have been in back-street restaurants), and of course, experiences and recommendations with dining are highly subjective, but for us, on that occasion, the whole thing just didn 't gel. Miss had black pork , which should be pork fillet, it was mainly gristle and really uneatable. My pork and clams was good, but not to rave over. From the one visit, I 'd say there are other, better, places to eat in Tavira."
