We ate at the Hare and Hound on Easter Sunday and it was surprisingly very quiet. Although the restaurant was quiet there were a few occasions where we were left waiting for a waitress but overall the service was very good. The only down side is that there are no baby changing facilities at the restaurant so I was encouraged to change my baby on a rather small ledge over the hand basin. We came with high expectations, as this was the best restaurant in Lingfield . The welcome and service was very pleasant and the atmosphere warm and inviting. I didn 't listen to the price of the special beef dish (as the general level of pricing was not cheap, but appeared reasonable) so I was very shocked when I saw it was just under 30 pounds.
