They have their days but for the most part the food is very good. They have change my thought on Carribean food and i love it. I would definitely recommend for a food spot. My favorite go to is the griot plate, double diri Jon rice, with sweet plaintains and pickliz. You get lots of food for the price, worth it. Also, the wait time is long but the taste of the food makes up for it. I would highly reccommed you order... View all feedback.

What Cat dislikes about 509 Caribbean Cuisine:
Want to rate them better because the food is good but the hassle to try to order is beyond annoying. By the time you even get to place an order it’s 45 mins, they text you when it’s ready then when you get there ANOTHER 30-40 min wait. And this is EVERYTIME! View all feedback.

The food is decent, but there are often items that are not available when I visit. However, that is not the main problem. During my last visit, I ordered food at 1:44pm but it was not ready until 3:05pm, and even then something was missing from my order. I am frustrated with the ridiculous wait times at this restaurant. It is the only Haitian restaurant in town and there is always only one person working. Although the food is delicious, the poor service alone is enough to discourage me from returning in the future.

I had Caribbean cuisine, but that was my first time with haitian food and it was delicious! I would definitely call and order before the time when they are in the position. that seems to be waiting in the regular anywhere from 15-30 minutes, but it is worth eating for the fresh. it's in a small mini-mall, so you have to look for him. they have many beautiful art in the interior and information for catering services. we ordered the jerk chicken tilapia entrees, and both were absolutely wonderful. the chicken fell directly from the bone, and the curtains were perfectly cooked. the tilapia was a few of the best fish I had in one. my son doesn't like fish, but he asked for bite, it was so good. the plates also came full of food. definitiw enough for rest. one of the best Caribbean experiences I had. I highly recommend them for delicious haitian food in tallahassee!
