Chef Carmine's restaurant in Bacolod received mixed reviews. While some patrons were disappointed by the lack of authenticity in the dishes and high prices, others found the food to be delightful and truly Italian. The aglio olio, capricciosa pizza with homemade Italian sausage, and bruschetta were particularly recommended. Despite varying opinions, many visitors continue to be loyal fans of Chef Carmine's cooking and make it a point to dine at his establishment whenever they are in town.

It is indeed a gastronomic pleasure on each visit at chef carmine's resto. Been an avid fan of his cooking since 2011 thru the recommendation of monet lacson. We never fail to visit his place every time we're in town! 2 thumbs up!

This place has an actual Italian chef owner, so we were really looking forward to eat here... What a shock, food tastes atypical to any run of the mill local Italian restaurants... Most though are so much better. Pasta pomodoro and amatriciana tasted store bought and did not use fresh ingredients ... Octopus salad used meant stale squid.. Scaloppine tasted like the used Campbell's mushroom soup for the sauce. The meal was also one of the most expensive ones we've had in Bacolod and they couldn't even give an official receipt.I have a feeling the Italian owner is not a real professional chef and is there for the face value only

We decided to visit this small and simple restaurant in Bacolod based on recommendations. The chef, Carmine from Italy, gave us high expectations for authenticity, and we were not disappointed. Even my 5 year old enjoyed the aglio olio, capricciosa pizza with homemade Italian sausage, and bruschetta. Just as good as we had heard!

Eating at Chef Carmine's restaurant is always a gastronomic delight. We have been enthusiastic fans of his cooking since 2011 when Monet Lacson recommended it to us. Whenever we are in town, we always make sure to visit his restaurant. Two thumbs up!
