Happy Teriyaki - Tacoma

Nice atmosphere, clean, very friendly staff, and good food. I ordered the orange chicken combo with teriyaki. Service was quick, only 10 or 15 minutes from ordering to having the food on the table. All the food was very good! I won't say the food was extraordinary though, slightly on the blander side, but still plenty of flavor. Really the only thing that makes me say that is when I tasted the teriyaki chicken all I tasted was the teriyaki sauce. Again, a solid choice for a teriyaki restaurant. I will definitely come back if I am in the area, and try something else, hoping to find something here that really blows me away.

It's a very calm and peaceful place to dine in. The service and food are great. One of my favorite place.

Genuily really happy with this place. All the food I get here is great. The fried rice portions are significant. So is the Yami soba. The Mongolian beef comes with the little crispy rice noodles I like. The sesame chicken is crunchy, and so is the katsu. The service is always friendly and prompt and if you do a call in order it's pretty much always done by the time you get there. Love this place.

Food is always excellent and the staff are friendly, kind and efficient. A family favorite l for sure.

We've been coming here since my kids were little. The service and owner is the sweetest! I feel like she's family! Kids are now in their 20's and we still go here. Oh, and the food portions and taste is good...they have sushi too!
