new owners made a good first impression in me. first pint there was perfectly held and they hacked a sound system that tastefully shuts off the sound of m4. the front garden is attractive and the table service is in front of location. always loved this pub since it was a stop when a bike tour on the floor ended. We have visited this place a few times but 3 out of the 5 the kitchen has been closed, tonight was because they had a party of 16, which surely means the kitchen is open.
