What a hidden gem! We have driven by this place a dozen times without stopping, but this last trip we decided to give it a try. Very friendly staff with a fantastic restaurant and park is well maintained. Also has excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. read more.

"Good place for lunch with a view of Matanuska Glacier. This place is very close to Matanuska hiking point. There is a coin operated telescope at the outside that gives you the close view of glacier. The place is very cozy and staffs are friendly. Got a window seat and enjoyed awesome view with food. We ordered spicy mushroom burger, glacier cookie and black coffee. The food is decent, the glacier cookie is good for 2-3person."

"I'm sorry I didn't come in. We went with a big group and wanted to eat and go. While we waited for our orders to be picked up, we noticed how great the interior decoration at this place and the beautiful view from inside and on the deck was. Your burgers were great. They had 2 big but friendly dogs. Obviously they hoped that we could feed them some delicious burgers (No, we did not, there is nothing good for their health, but they were well trained and did not try to take some of our hands : I like her good temperaments."

"What a wonderfully charming spot! We only stopped for one night as we were passing through, but I would love to come back and spend more time. The mountain backdrop is gorgeous and you truly feel surrounded by nature. Walking trails give you a chance to stretch the legs, the cabins are up to date and spacious, and the grounds are wonderful (there?s even a hot tub! Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious. Definitely plan a stop here!"
